These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the purchase of products through our online store. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors of this website and to all agreements concluded between Neubauer Designs and its customers through this webshop.
Specific provisions applicable to wholesale (B2B) customers may differ where explicitly agreed in writing.
3. Our Products
Neubauer Designs specialises in handcrafted home décor, crochet creations, seasonal collections and other handmade products.
Every item is individually created with great care.
Because our products are handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, finish, dimensions or pattern are a natural characteristic of handcrafted work and contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.
These natural variations shall not be considered defects.
Product photographs are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear differently depending on individual screen settings and lighting conditions.
4. Availability
Many of our products are made to order.
Product availability may therefore vary throughout the year.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Neubauer Designs will contact the customer as soon as possible to discuss an appropriate solution, including a replacement, delayed production or refund where applicable.
5. Orders
An order is considered accepted once the customer receives an order confirmation from Neubauer Designs.
Neubauer Designs reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
- pricing errors;
- suspected fraud;
- technical errors;
- products that unexpectedly become unavailable.
If payment has already been received, the customer will receive a full refund.
6. Prices
All prices displayed on this website are expressed in Euro (EUR).
Neubauer Designs operates under the Belgian Small Business VAT Scheme.
No VAT is charged on our products in accordance with the applicable Belgian legislation.
Shipping costs are calculated separately unless otherwise indicated.
Prices may be modified at any time without prior notice.
However, confirmed orders remain subject to the price applicable at the time the order was placed.
7. Payment
Payment must be completed before an order is processed or dispatched.
Neubauer Designs accepts the payment methods offered during checkout.
Orders remain the property of Neubauer Designs until full payment has been received.
8. Shipping
Shipping times and delivery estimates are provided in good faith and are intended as guidelines only.
Orders containing handmade or made-to-order products may require additional production time.
Estimated processing and delivery times may vary depending on product availability, seasonal demand and order volume.
Neubauer Designs cannot be held responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
Consumers residing within the European Union have the statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within fourteen (14) calendar days in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
Returns must comply with the conditions described in our Return & Refund Policy.
Products must be returned in their original condition.
Returned items showing signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect the product may be subject to a reduction in the refundable amount where permitted by law.
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying the return shipment unless the return results from an error on the part of Neubauer Designs or the product arrived damaged.
10. Handmade Products
Every product offered by Neubauer Designs is individually handcrafted.
Because handmade products are created manually, no two items will ever be completely identical.
Small variations in:
- colour;
- texture;
- dimensions;
- finish;
- pattern;
- marbling;
- surface appearance;
are natural characteristics of handmade craftsmanship and are not considered manufacturing defects.
These unique characteristics contribute to the individuality and authenticity of every creation.
11. Jesmonite Products
Jesmonite is a handcrafted composite material that naturally develops subtle variations during production.
Customers acknowledge that products may display:
- small air bubbles;
- slight colour differences;
- natural marbling effects;
- subtle texture variations;
- minor surface irregularities.
These characteristics are inherent to the handcrafted production process and are part of the aesthetic of handmade Jesmonite products.
They shall not be regarded as faults or defects.
12. Crochet Products
Crochet creations are entirely handmade.
Small differences in size, stitch definition or tension may occur from one piece to another.
Colours may vary slightly depending on yarn dye lots and individual screen settings.
These characteristics are normal and confirm the handmade nature of the product.
13. Candle Vessels
Many Jesmonite products sold by Neubauer Designs are decorative vessels intended to hold candles.
Where candles are supplied or used within these vessels, customers remain responsible for following all candle safety instructions.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep burning candles away from children, pets and flammable materials.
Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Neubauer Designs cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper candle use or failure to follow standard candle safety practices.
14. Product Care
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your handmade products, customers should follow the recommended care instructions.
Unless otherwise stated:
- do not place Jesmonite products in the dishwasher;
- do not soak products in water;
- clean using a soft, slightly damp cloth;
- avoid aggressive cleaning products;
- avoid prolonged exposure to moisture;
- handle handmade products with care.
Failure to follow these care instructions may affect the appearance or lifespan of the product.
15. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the Neubauer Designs website, brand, logo, product designs, product names, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, crochet patterns and all other content remain the exclusive property of Neubauer Designs unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, published, modified, distributed, sold or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
The purchase of a product does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the customer.
16. Wholesale Orders (B2B)
Wholesale orders are subject to separate agreements where applicable.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, wholesale orders are produced specifically for the customer and are therefore generally non-returnable.
Shipping costs for wholesale orders are calculated separately based on the destination, total weight and dimensions of the order.
17. Digital Products
Where Neubauer Designs offers digital products, including crochet patterns or downloadable content, these products are intended for the personal use of the purchaser only.
Digital files may not be copied, shared, redistributed, resold, translated or published without prior written permission.
Due to the nature of digital products, no refunds can be issued once a digital file has been downloaded or accessed, except where required by applicable law.
18. Force Majeure
Neubauer Designs shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
- natural disasters;
- fire;
- flooding;
- transport disruptions;
- strikes;
- shortages of raw materials;
- power or internet outages;
- illness;
- government measures;
- pandemics;
- other unforeseen events.
Where possible, customers will be informed of any significant delays.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neubauer Designs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of its products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law.
20. Privacy
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using this website, customers acknowledge that their personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
21. Amendments
Neubauer Designs reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version published on the website at the time an order is placed shall apply to that order.
22. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Belgium.
Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or from the use of this website shall be submitted to the competent Belgian courts, without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable consumer protection legislation.
